I Just Can’t Sleep

It’s time to sleep.
I’ve brushed my teeth,
And read my book;
I’ve put my bathrobe,
On the hook, and…
I just can’t sleep.
The bed’s too hot,
The light’s too bright;
There are far too many,
Sounds tonight, and…
Maybe I’ll sleep.
I think I might, I think I’ll –yawn–
Turn out the light. Good night. Zzzzzz…
