Character is the greatest quality of a man, which distincts him from another person. It has been rightly said, “If wealth is lost, nothing is lost; if health is lost, something is lost; but if character is lost, everything is lost.” Character is not a nature’s legacy to a man. The man himself is for the whole life. It is a lifelong process.
A man of character is respected everywhere. He shapes society. He builds a nation. He faces odds of life in a bold manner. He makes his own path in life. He sets an example for others to follow. He is a role model. All great personalities are men of character. They have found a place in history because of their exemplary character. We admire great men because of certain unique qualities. Surroundings and challenging circumstances also mould character. Only weak persons are transformed by the surroundings and circumstances. But great men fight against all the odds. They challenge the surroundings. A gentle and noble family also produces good characters. Many persons become great due to the encouragement by their near and dear ones.
