Iguanas are large lizards, about 5 to 6 feet long, with typical skin folds under the chins and row spines on the backs. Contrasting to their fierce looks is their docile nature making them good pets for kids. Their green or brown skins blend in with trees. These vegetarians are happy eating fruits and leaves.
