It had been raining for the last three days. Everything was dripping. Poor Henry, the cock, was the worst hit, for his feathers were wet and he couldn’t crow loudly either. Only the ducks and the geese were having a good time! Charlie, the farm bullock, suggested that they should do something to improve their spirits. He began a game in the barn asking each animal and bird to suggest one thing they liked and one he/she disliked. No one cared for the game much, but since there was nothing else to do, they all began to play. Slowly things became interesting and all the animals and the birds were neighing, mooing, bleating, barking, braying and clucking at the top of their voices! There was such a ruckus that Farmer Blaine heard it over the thunder and the rain. He came running to check and found that all the farm creatures were having a wonderful time!
