Jeffrey was an extremely tall giraffe living in a jungle. She was the nosiest and the most gossipy animal in the jungle. She had a good height and a long flexible neck which she used to reach everywhere. She always used her long neck to listen to everyone’s talk which made everyone annoyed. One day, all the animals had a secret meeting and decided to teach Jeffrey a good lesson. Bonzo, a very clever monkey of all the monkeys, got an idea. He reached a very old abandoned den. He cleaned it and turned it into a beautiful house. Next day, Jeffrey heard about the most beautiful house in the jungle. Now, she was very curious to go there. That night, she reached the place. The house looked very beautiful. Jeffrey couldn’t stop herself from going inside the house. Then, she saw an open window.
Jeffrey quickly put her head inside the house. It was a large room where she saw Bonzo walking into another room. She followed Bonzo and pushed her neck into the bedroom. Then, Bonzo walked into another room and Jeffrey pushed her neck further in so that she might follow him to the next room. It was dark inside the room and she was not able to see anything clearly.
Then, Bonzo rushed down to the corridor, and then another room. Jeffrey kept following him and at last she couldn’t follow him any more. She wanted to take out her neck from the house but it was badly tangled. Then, all the other animals, hiding near the house, came out and started laughing at her. Now, Jeffrey thought of her irritating nosiness. She felt so embarrassed that she decided not to use her long neck to poke into the life of others.
