Jennifer was a little girl with boundless curiosity. She loved to read books. She had too many questions, the answers to which could be found in those books. She loved to visit libraries to read books. She felt bored with life, if she did not find anything to read. In her Grandpa’s library, there was a big, green book which she was not allowed to read. She would always wonder what was in that book. One afternoon, it was raining and Jennifer felt curious to know more about the big, green book. It was on a high shelf. As she pulled it, it fell and bruised her arm. She opened it excitedly. She was amazed to see that the pages of the book were in tatters and not a word could be read. Not only had she hurt herself, but also wasted her time. Jennifer realised the value of obeying her Grandpa.
