Jim was the happiest child today. His father got him a water pistol. He imagined the fun he would have playing with his water pistol. Jim showed this wonderful toy to all his friends. His friends were equally excited. Jim told them that he would fill the pistol with water and shoot unsuspecting passers-by with it. ‘I will enjoy and have fun!’ Jim thought, ‘I will drench everyone. People will run here and there.’ Jim thought and laughed. Jim was so excited that he did not want to wait. He filled his water pistol with water and ran out to drench the first person he would see on the street. As Jim stood waiting for a passer-by, a car ran over a puddle. Splash! Poor Jim was drenched from head to toe in the muddy water. ‘How bad!’ Jim realised, ‘I don’t like to be drenched like this. No, I will never use my water pistol to drench others. They will feel bad.’
