Jude loved to tinker with gadgets. One day, he found an old magnifying glass in the attic of his house. Jude held the glass in his hand and looked at it over and over again. He was curious about the glass. He used the glass to look at an ant. “Wow! The ant has become so big,” exclaimed Jude as he looked at the ant through the glass. But when he took the magnifying glass away, the ant stayed the same size. “This is the magical glass!” remarked Jude in surprise. He ran to his mother and said, “Mother, look! I have found a magical glass. If I place something under it, that thing grows big in size. I will use it on my sweets and chocolates!” His mother said, “Jude, this is a magnifying glass, which only makes things look bigger. They actually remain the same size!” Jude was very surprised indeed!
