Katy and the Wool

One day, Mother Cat got a ball of wool for her daughter Katy. She was very happy and played with the wool all day. Her neighbour, Mrs. Birdy, called out, “May I have some wool for my nest?” Katy looked at her mother. Mother Cat smiled and said, “It is fun to share things.” So Katy gave some wool to Mrs. Birdy. They watched as Mrs. Birdy tucked the wool in her nest. Katy cried, “I like sharing things. It makes me happy.” Suddenly Pete Rabbit came and said, “We are having a race. A piece of wool is just what we need to make a finishing line.” So, Katy gave him some wool. She was happy for sharing the wool. In the evening, Katy got a surprise gift. The bird and the rabbit had gifted Katy a wool ball for her kindness. Katy was very happy.
