Our heart blossoms, when we smile. It is such a process which incorporates positive action. Smile is such a precious gift to mankind, which should be expended with both hands. Those persons who make smile as a part of their lives, lead a successful, effective and a popular lifestyle, in comparison to those who cover their beautiful faces with a boring look. People with a happy nature and a pleasing personality are always welcomed by one and all. Everyone wishes to come in contact with such people whereas people avoid angry and ill-mannered people, so much so that even their own relatives shirk them.
THE SECRETS OF HAPPINESS
Vedantic Philosophy considers happiness to be the very nature of the self. There is no object in this world which does not possess happiness. We imagine through our ignorance, that we desire happiness from objects; it experiences misery. In truth, when its desires are fulfilled, it turns to its own place and enjoys the happiness in itself.
Value of Smile
Laugh and the whole world laughs with you.
Weep and you weep alone.
Marilyn Monroe, Mona Lisa and Madhubala, the names of these three celebrities stating with the letter ‘M’ are not only renowned for their beauty, but are also known for their most precious smile, which endowed each of them with the title of ‘Goddess of Beauty’. It was this magnificent smile the people were mad about, and it left long-lasting impression on the people.
Smile on one hand enhances our beauty, while on the other hand, it helps us to keep young and youthful. When we are in a spate of anger, our body undergoes adverse hormonal changes. Our muscles get more tense and when we go on repeating this process time and again, our face looks more older than our age.
“ What do you need? Whatever you want to possess, get it with your smile, not with a sword.”
—Shakespeare
When we smile, one of the most important facial muscles ‘Zygomatic Major’ is put to action, which travels from the cheek bone to various corners of the face; hence, those persons who are desirous of looking young, should smile a lot; rather, they should keep smiling.
Charm of Sweet Smile
Certain tasks, which can neither be accomplished, with a lot of recommendations, with stacks of currency notes, can just be done by the charm of smile. It is such a sweet dagger of which every person wishes to be a victim of, time and again. Not only we spread happiness among the people but we ourselves remain cheerful, by always smiling. Researchers have proved now that those people who smile very often always, remain physically and mentally fit and cheerful. Psychologists are of the opinion that even if we are smiling under difficult and adverse circumstances, we are bound to get more appropriate answers to our queries. By using our facial muscles towards smile, we not only have normal blood pressure on one hand, but our body also feels at rest on the other hand. When we smile, our anger disappears automatically. We are unable to get angry under these circumstances, even if we wish to be. Not only this, when we smile, our body absorbs more oxygen, which leads to the oxygenated blood. This just acts like an air-conditioner of mind, as while working quite often our brain gets overworked; it starts producing negative views, and to get rid of these thoughts the best remedy is to keep smiling. The author of ‘Smile Therapy’ book, Lease is of the opinion that one can say a thousand words just by his smile, without opening his mouth. Every person can be of a different nature, worldwide, but the ‘Smile’ is universally the same and well accepted; thus for no reason one should part with this precious commodity in his personality.

While departing to India on 15th April 1952, Stalin could not control his tears, and in spite of his best efforts, wept bitterly. He said admitting his tears, “ You are the first person in my life, who has shaken my conscience deep down. You have always treated me differently from others.
