Ken Helps the King

Ken-Helps-the-King

King Ronald had lost his way in the forest. He was separated from his men when they were hunting in the forest. While he was walking in the forest, he saw a wild apple tree full of the fruit. Unfortunately, it was so high that the King could not reach it. Little Ken had come to the forest with his dad to collect firewood. He saw the King and said, “I can get you the apples.” “Yes please! I am very hungry,” said King Ronald. Ken then climbed up the tree and plucked about half a dozen apples. The King was pleased. “Here take this gold coin, as a gift from your King.” “Are you lost? I can show you the way out if you want me to,” Ken offered and took the King to the edge of the forest. King Ronald thanked Ken for his help and invited him to the palace for tea that evening.
