Kerry Way is a 214-km trail around Kerry County in Ireland that was built by 1989. Proposed in 1982, the Kerry Way was a product of inspiration. It was proposed and developed under the chairmanship of Seán Ó Súilleabháin, who realized that the web-like roads and paths across Kerry could be combined to create a route around Kerry for tourists. It begins and ends at Killarney; this circular path takes nine days to complete. Different from the Ring of Kerry road tour, the path is a ‘walker’s version’ of the same.
