Misty, the elf lived in the forest, but he enjoyed wandering off into the villages and the cities near by. “Be careful, Misty!” said his friend, Julip, “You may get into trouble!” And sure enough, Misty did get into trouble. One day Mia, Princess of Fairyland, came to the forest and met Misty. She fell in love with him. But when Mia wished to marry him, he laughed and said, “I can’t marry, for I love to wander!” Mia was very angry. She put a spell on him and Misty couldn’t stop laughing. He couldn’t eat or sleep because he could only laugh. But Wella, the elf who was his childhood sweetheart, made a magic potion to break the spell. And then Misty decided he would marry after all, but not the Princess Mia. He married Wella and they lived happily thereafter in the forest!
