This mysterious person wearing a military uniform with a gas mask covering his or her face was observed to be walking the same route quietly in a Swiss forest for 10 years. Tales of Le Loyon have been reported in the woods of Maules in western Switzerland for the past decade. An unnamed amateur photographer published the first ever photograph of the figure. Le Loyon clearly meant no harm, and all the attention just became too much for him/her who left behind his rags and mask, as well as his ‘Death Certificate’ in the woods. Le Loyon blamed the media for ruining his harmlessness.
