Once, a man wanted to cross a river. He was a scholar. He saw a boatman and asked him, “Can you take me across the river?” The boatman agreed to do so immediately. Soon, they were sailing away. On the way, to make a small conversation, the scholar asked the boatman, “Have you gone to college?” The boatman replied, “No.” The scholar said, “Pity! You have wasted your life then!” The boatman did not say anything. He just kept rowing the boat. Suddenly, after a while, their boat hit a big rock. The boatman noticed that their boat had cracked. Soon, water was seeping inside the boat. The boat started sinking. The boatman asked the scholar, “Do you know swimming?” The scholar replied, “No.” The boatman said, “Well, you have wasted your whole life! You will be drowned soon.”
