Little Switzerland is the nickname given to a region in eastern Luxembourg due to its geographical similarities to Switzerland. The region is also called Mullerthal. The thick forests covering most of the region with a craggy terrain allow one to spend the entire day walking the trails that go through jungles. This region also offers spectacular rock formations, which can be seen along the way of the various trekking routes one can take. There are many bubbling little streams in the area and some caves that add to the charm. Little Switzerland is the smallest of Luxembourg’s sub-regions.
