Look for Roses

Once, there lived twin brothers, Brian and Orion. Brian was an optimist, while Orion was an extreme pessimist. The parents were so worried about Orion that they finally took him to a counsellor. The counsellor suggested a plan. He said, “Their birthday falls next week. Why don’t you give Orion the best gift and Brian a box of cattle feed? Let us see how they react.” The parents agreed. They gifted Orion a calculator and a big toy-car. But they were shocked to see Orion complaining, as usual. “Brian must have got better gifts than I. Just see the colour of this car. It is so dull!” On the other hand, Brian was playing with the cattle feed. He looked happy. He ran towards his father and said, “You are a smart dad. But where is my pony? When there, there must be a pony too.” One should always sees the roses and not the thorns.
