It is an omnivorous mammal which looks like a long-legged fox, with a reddish-brown coat and a mane along its back. They are able to rotate their ears, and use their front feet to tap the ground, flushing prey out. Typically omnivorous, they live in wide open grasslands, forests and vegetation.
