Numerous activities which defy logical explanation happened in Lake Michigan, stretching from Ludington to Benton Harbour, Michigan and to Manitowoc, Wisconsin. In 1891, a schooner with a crew of seven disappeared overnight. Even a driftwood could not be recovered. In 1921 eleven people disappeared and their ship was found overturned and floating in Lake Michigan. There could not have been a collision, because no other incident was reported. The reports of a variety of strange occurrences happened during passage through the area. Some claimed the triangle was a time portal which slowed or sped up time immensely during passage. Navigators carefully avoid the Michigan Triangle.
