The mimic octopus mimics the shape of other sea creatures to attract prey and avoid predators. It has 8 arms with 2 rows of suckers. Though its natural colour is light brown yet it sports white and brown stripes for a fierce look. It grows up to 60 cm long with tentacles about 25 inches long. Its lifespan is 9 months.
