Min Min Lights, a mysterious light phenomenon that seem to follow travellers for long distances, has often been reported in outback Australia in Queensland, Northern Territory and northern NSW. The light was observed by a stockman in 1918 in a small settlement of Min Min, located between the outback towns of Boulia and Winton. Min Min is an unusual light phenomenon and scientists claim that the Min Min Light occurs when light, from a natural or man-made source, is refracted to an observer who is even hundreds of kilometres away, by an inverted mirage.
