All children love their mothers. While mothers do everything for their children throughout the year, the Mother’s Day is the only occasion when children can do something for their mothers. Miranda loved her mother. She thought her mother was the best Mom in the world. As Mother’s Day was coming closer, Miranda wondered what she could get for her Mom. She finally bought a beautiful crystal from a shop with her pocket money. On Mother’s day, as Miranda was picking the gift up, it fell and smashed on the floor. Miranda began to cry and her Mom came running to her. When she explained why she was crying, her Mom smiled and said, “Don’t cry, Miranda. The most precious gift I can ever have is you.” Miranda felt happy. Miranda realised that day that the best and most precious gifts are not those that we can buy from a shop.
