Man is a social being. He is always eager to see his friends and relatives. In earlier days, people did not like to take long journeys. There were no quick means of travelling.
In the beginning, legs were man’s means of travelling. Then came animals like horse, elephant, ox and donkey. All have been serving us as a mode of transport since ancient times. On plains, we used horses and in desert areas, the camel was the only means of transport.
At present, the railway trains and motor cars have substituted animals. We can travel for long distances in the train or buses with all comforts. Nowadays, the airways has made travelling much faster. We can travel to very long distances from one nation to another within a few hours. It is not very expensive besides effective and safer means of transport.
Because of the modern means of transport, the world seems smaller. The cycles and the rickshaws have their own importance. As the pollution is increasing and the people are getting aware of this serious problem, they prefer eco-friendly means of transport like cycles & CNG vehicles.
