Mulla Nasruddin’s friend had an egg in his pocket. He said to Mulla, “If you can guess what I have in my pocket, I’ll treat you to breakfast.” “All Right,” Mulla replied, “give me some clues.” The friend said, “It’s yellow in the middle. The rest of it is white. And it’s shaped like an egg.” Mulla replied, “Is it some kind of pastry?” His friend laughed and asked, “How old are you, Mulla?” “Forty-five,” Mulla said. “But that’s what you said when I asked you ten years ago!” shouted his friend. “I always stand by what I have said!” said Mulla. “All Right, tell me what is more valuable to us, the sun or the moon?” asked his friend. “The sun is out during the daytime when there is light. But the moon provides light during the night when it’s dark. Thus, the moon is obviously much more valuable,” answered Mulla. His friend gave up by bowing in front of Mulla.
