I am an Indian. India is my mother-land. My country is also called ‘Bharat’. It is a big country. The Himalayan mountain ranges are in the north of India. The Indian Ocean lies to its south. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, China, Myanmar, Bhutan and Sri Lanka are its neighbouring countries. New Delhi is the capital of India. The tricolour is our national flag. The tiger is the national animal. The peacock is the national bird. The lotus is the national flower. We should be ever ready to protect our country from our enemies. It is said—united we stand, divided we fall. So, we should maintain unity in every situation.
