Hatim, once again, continued his journey in pursuit of the words, “I have done nothing which can benefit me this night.” Before he left, villagers gave him the direction from where they too heard these words every Friday night, but had no idea as to who said them and why. Hatim, too, heard the words on Friday night as he walked in the given direction. He thanked God for it and continued to walk and walk till he reached a cave that was surrounded by sand dunes. Once again, he heard those words and by the time he found the entrance to the cave, it was Saturday morning. He entered the cave and saw the life-size statues of five hundred horsemen with their horses. As he approached them, they were all still and quiet. He sat on the steps of the cave-like structure waiting for next Friday to solve the mystery.
