Nà Pali Coast

Nà Pali Coast

The Nà Pali Coast is a state park. The Park is located 16 miles off the rugged terrain on Kaua’i, Hawai’i. The first settlement on Nà Pali coast took place in 1200 AD.

Why it is special: Situated on one of the oldest inhabited islands of Hawai’i, the Nà Pali Coast state park expands over 6,175 acres of land. It was created to protect the Kalalau Valley. Nà Pali, which literally means ‘high cliffs’, runs along the shoreline 1,200 metres in height, giving this area its name.
