‘Necessity is the mother of invention’ is undoubtedly a true proverb. Necessity is just like a word ‘hungry’ and invention is its food. So, whenever necessity arises, a path towards invention is created. This is why we see a lot of inventions from ancient age till modern era. Our requirements force us to find the ways of getting it. In the earlier days when man felt the need of protection from wild beasts and cold, he invented fire by striking two pieces of stone. Slowly and gradually with the passage of time, many developments took place in man’s life. For his convenience, sewing machine, radio, TV, trains, ships and aeroplanes were invented. As man grew up, modernization of living standard took place and to satisfy the need of his living standard many new things and advance technologies came into existence.
