Long ago, in the animal town paper had not been discovered. So, there was no newspaper. It was a custom for the animals to hear news from an animal’s mouth. Huck Hippo and his horse, Kid, used to travel from one place to another telling everyone the news. But there was a problem. Huck had a very bad memory. Several times, he forgot what news there was to tell. Kid was also fed up of this bad habit of Huck’s. So, one day, he had an idea. He told Huck, “Why don’t we sing the news? That way, you will never forget the news.” After all, Huck remembered every song and was a good singer. Huck was happy to hear this and agreed. So, after that day, they started singing the news to the animals. And Huck has never forgotten a single piece of news since then.
