Newspapers give us news, information and knowledge. News-papers help to convey news to a number of people at a time. Almost everybody reads newspapers. They also provide us with information about many other fields. There are separate sections on books, sports, children, businesses, etc. in a newspaper. The most popular are the English newspapers. There are newspapers in Hindi and other Indian languages too. The word ‘news’ means—North, East, West and South. It means a newspaper brings us news from every nook and corner of the world. It is the cheapest source of information.
