Ryan was very nosy. He even had a bad habit of peeping through people’s windows. His parents had often warned him, “This bad habit of interfering in other people’s businesses will get you into trouble!” However, he never listened to them. One day, Ryan went to his friend John’s house. On his way back, Ryan passed by a pink house where his friend, Ken lived. A wonderful smell of something baking wafted out from Ken’s house. ‘I wonder what’s baking!’ Ryan thought, ‘I guess there is no harm in a little peeping.’ Ryan jumped over the fence and went to the backyard. Just as he was peering through the kitchen window, he felt a sharp painful bite on his ankle. It was Ken’s dog! Hearing Ryan’s squeals, Ken came out and tried to take his dog away. But the dog chased Ryan all the way to his house. Ryan vowed never to be nosy again.
