Interesting fact : The oriental fruit moth is also known as the peach moth because of its affinity to peaches, apples, pear, plum, apricot, and other fruits as a part of its diet.

13 mm in wingspan, the oriental fruit moth is greyish with brown markings. Its diet is comprised of various fruits, including those mentioned above. While the younger generations of larvae bore their way into new twigs causing them to die, the older generations feed on peaches and terminal growth.
