Obesity once gained is very difficult to overcome. It is therefore important to prevent the problem from happening in the first place. Parents cancan play very important role in preventing obesity in their children. Here are some tips for parents.
- Offer your child a healthy diet. Ask doctor about the right food for your child. Your child needs lot of fiber from fruits and vegetables.
- Put a limit on eating at fast food at restaurants.
- Do not force your child when he is not hungry. It is all right if he does not finish all the food offered him.
- Do not use all comforter reward the child.
- Encourage your child to participate in school or community sports.
- Teach your child good eating and exercise habits. Get your family to start eating a healthier diet, so that your child does not feel deprive.
