65 to 80 mm in length, the European owl moth’s habitat is comprised of woody, forested areas with leaf bearing trees in mountainous regions, between 250 and 850 metres. These moths can even survive in freezing temperatures. Their diet is comprised of plants from the olive and lilac plants and evergreen and deciduous shrubs.
