“The prince must learn to drive a car!” said the king to Mr Poole who was to instruct Prince Ronald. The Prince’s lessons began the next morning. He was so nervous that he’d stop when he had to move or the car would leap out of control! But Mr Poole was patient and firm. Slowly, the prince learnt to understand everything. Then he was taken out to drive through the city streets. Mr Poole wanted to teach the prince how to park properly. Prince Ronald parked suddenly near a fruit shop and the car rammed into the stall! The fruits flew in all directions and hit some chickens which flew squawking into a cart and the horse reared. A dog jumped out of the way hitting into a cat that jumped in through the window of the car! The prince was horrified by the chaos! “We will learn parking in the palace,” said Mr Poole.
