Doordarshi reached the court of King Jewel Plume of Jambudweepa with the minister Chakravaka of the kingdom of Karpuradweepa. The wise vulture had already told his King about what to expect and what to do when the representative from Karpuradweepa came. So, King Jewel Plume welcomed Chakravaka and discussed the peace treaty with him and approved of it. He gave many gifts too to the minister to confirm his goodwill. Then they sent him back to his country. Both the kingdoms had made honourable peace. King Jewel Plume then asked Doordarshi what they should do next. “Let us return to our kingdom in the Vindhyas, Sir,” said Doordarshi, “before the monsoon rains begin.” So they all returned to their kingdoms and peace came to the land once more.
