Percé Rock is a humongous steep rock formation. It is located in Percé, Quebec, Canada. This rock formation has dated back to more than 400 million years ago.
Why it is special: Resembling a ship under sail when seen from some distance, this natural rock formation is the world’s largest ‘natural arch’ in water. Created of siliceous limestone stack formation with sandstone and siltstone veins, the Percé rock is 88 metres tall, 433 metres long and 90 metres wide.
