Percy’s Plan

Percy's-Plan

Fred, George and Percy studied in the same class. Percy had always been jealous of Fred and George’s friendship. He had been planning to break their friendship. One day, Fred brought a new pencil box to school. Percy thought, ‘This is a good chance to ruin their friendship.’ So, Percy stole Fred’s pencil box and hid it in George’s bag. When Fred told the teacher that his pencil box was missing, the teacher checked everyone’s bag. Imagine her surprise when she found it in George’s bag! Fred did not believe this and said, “George would never have stolen my pencil box!” Then another student, Neil said, “Teacher, I saw Percy take that pencil box during lunch break.” The teacher said, “Percy, I think you wanted to create a rift between Fred and George. You will not have any friends of yours if you are jealous of others.” Percy apologised to Fred and George. They forgave him and became his friends.
