Philip and Ben were playing in the park all afternoon, one summer’s day. Soon, they were tired and lay down under a mango tree. Suddenly, a mango fell from the tree. Both the boys were hungry, so they jumped to grab the mango. “I was the first one to see the mango. This is mine,” said Philip. “No, this mango belongs to me as I picked it up before you!” argued the Ben. “But I told you about it,” said Philip. Just then, a poor man came there. He wore shattered clothes and looked weak. Both the boys felt sorry for the poor man and looked at each other. “I think we must give the mango to him,” said Ben. “Yes, the poor man looks hungry,” agreed Philip. When the boys gave the mango to the poor man, he said, “I can’t thank you enough for this kind deed.” Philip and Ben felt proud of themselves.
