The pink skunk clownfish lives among sea anemones in reef lagoons and outer reef slopes. It grows to a length of 4-7 cm. It has a peach-orange colour with one white stripe behind the head running the entire length of the back and another white stripe behind the eyes. It feeds on macro algae, diatoms, tunicates, copepods and benthic worms.
