Pinky lived with her grandfather in a cottage near the forest. Every night, he would tell her stories of fairies and princes and princesses. One night, she fell asleep and had a wonderful dream. A handsome prince came out of the sea and took her for a ride on a sea-horse! They went to a palace underwater which was made of coral and she wore a gorgeous gown of green and gold with pearls all over it. There was a grand wedding for her and the prince. A trumpet sounded loudly. Suddenly, Pinky awoke! It was the cock crowing. She went out to feed the hens and found that a new neighbour had come to the cottage next door. It was Mrs Finley and her son Paul. Pinky stopped in surprise. Paul looked exactly like her prince! She was delighted to have a friend and the one from her dream!
