Play-doh

The play-doh is a children’s clay that is said to have wheat flour, kerosene, colours, perfume, petroleum product and salt to make into flexible. A plastic modelling composition that was non-toxin was patented in the year 1965 almost nine years after its invention by the Noah and Joseph McVicker who accidently discovered the clay that was initially designed to clean wall papers. And soon this clay became more popular as a toy for kids than cleaning product. In fact, Joseph McVicker became a millionaire after releasing this toy at a young age of 27. A full eight-colour palette of the clay was introduced in the 1980. The most popular name in children’s clay products, play-doh is produced by the firm named Hasbro, which is the American Toy Company. Its composition is still a well-kept secret and is one of the highest sold children clays in the world. More than 700 million pound of play-doh has been sold till date.
