Similar to the pufferfish, the porcupine fish has spines onits back that are raised when it inflates its body to almost twiceits size for defence. They live in coral, rocky reefs, mangroves, muddy, sandy and grassy flats. They can grow up to 36 inches long and are nocturnal feeding on snails, hermit crabs and sea urchins.
