Interesting fact : The oldest fossil of the pseudoscorpion is said to date back to the Devonian era, 380 million years ago.
About 2-8 mm in length, the pseudoscorpians are tiny and inoffensive to humans. Their diet is comprised of cloth moth larvae, carpet beetle, booklice, ants, small flies and mites. This bug looks a lot like a scorpion in appearance. However, it can spin silk cocoons from its jaws used for molting, mating and also surviving in harsh weather. The female carries her eggs (20-40) in a brood pouch, until they hatch.
