The queen conch is a sea snail living in seagrass beds. It has aspiral shell with spines that has a pink, flared lip. It has largestalked eyes and a pair of sensory tentacles, a strong foot and asickle-shaped operculum. They feed on macroalgae, seagrass, unicellular algae and detritus. Lifespan is 20-30 years.
