Long ago, Alex, a unicorn, lived in the magical world. He ran very fast and won all the races. With time, Alex became very arrogant and proud. He often made fun of the mermaids, who had to glide slowly on land. Once, the Referee Fairy announced that the next race would be held between Alex and Rapunzel, the mermaid. Rapunzel was very scared. “Oh! How can I win against Alex? He is so fast!” Alex was very angry. He said to Rapunzel, “How could the Referee Fairy choose you to compete with me? You can’t even walk.” On the day of the race, the Referee Fairy took them to a new racing ground. As they reached it, the two participants saw that the racing area was a lake. While Alex struggled, Rapunzel swam flawlessly and won the race. Alex was ashamed of his foolish pride and apologised to Rapunzel. The Referee Fairy had taught him a good lesson!
