RAMA SAW SITA IN MITHILA

Rama and Laxman woke up early in the morning. They took their bath and greeted their guru, sage Vishwamitra. Then taking his permission, the brothers set out to fetch flowers for worship. They reached the garden of king Janaka. It was a beautiful garden with a variety of trees, vines and flowers. Seeking the help of the gardener, they began to pick flowers. Just then princess Sita arrived there. Her mother had sent her to worship goddess Parvati. She was accompanied by her friends who were singing in a melodious voice. Rama saw the beautiful princess dressed in a traditional attire and laden with all sorts of ornaments. He was mesmerized by her beauty and fell in love with her. When Sita saw the two beautiful princes, her heart was filled with joy. She too fell in love with Rama. But she realised that she was getting late, so she soon returned to her palace. After picking enough flowers for their worship, Rama and Laxman admired the beauty of princess Sita and returned to sage Vishwamitra. Rama was very innocent and never had any secret from anyone. So, he narrated the whole incident to the sage Vishwamitra.
