This tarantula can grow up to 5 inches in legspan. The male is smaller and thinner than the female. Burrowing spiders, their habitat consists of scrublands. Their diet consists of anything that they can overpower and eat. This includes insects, rodents and lizards. Due to its pet trade, this spider is considered vulnerable to extinction.
