The reef stonefish is brilliantly camouflaged. Lying like a stone or a coral in coral reef, rocky, muddy and sandy bottoms, this fish is brown or grey with areas of yellow, orange or red. It can grow 30-40 cm long and weigh nearly 5 pounds. It feeds on fish, shrimp and other crustaceans. Lifespan is 5-10 years.
