Reine is a quaint fishing village located on the Lofoten archipelago in Nordland county of Norway. Though tiny yet this village is extremely picturesque and is often referred to as ‘The most beautiful place in the world’. Red and white traditional fisherman’s huts, that have been converted for tourists, dot the shores and the surrounding granite peaks of Reineforden. There are many hikes on the Lofoten Islands surrounding the village. The famous Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) have the best view from Reine as it is located just a 100 km from the Arctic Circle.
